Creators Syndicate, the company that syndicates Bill O’Reilly’s columns, sent a cease and desist letter to Newshounds, a Fox watchdog concern, for posting a link to an O’Reilly column. While Newshounds did initially reprint the actual article (this article, in fact), we find Creators Syndicate’s action puzzling in light of the fact that such linking does not violate copyright. Are Creators Syndicate ignorant bullies, or just bullies?
The blog Stay Free! Daily is encouraging all good citizens to link to the O’Reilly column so that they may more fully enjoy the benefits of right action.
